Delete your Vigta account

You can delete your account and all data that belongs to it. This cannot be undone.

In the app

Open Vigta and go to Settings.
Choose Account, then Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and your data are deleted straight away.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to support@vigta.app from the email address the account was created with, and put “Delete my Vigta account” in the subject line. We delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it is done.

What is deleted

Your account and your sign-in address.
All your tasks, lists, notes and ratings on our server.
Lists you have shared with others. They disappear for the people you shared them with too. The app tells you who is affected before you confirm.
Your access to lists others have shared with you. Their lists stay with them.
If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Vigta’s access to your Apple sign-in.

What is kept for a while

Our daily server backups are kept for 7 days. After that, your data is gone from them too.
If you bought Vigta Plus, Danish bookkeeping law requires us to keep the purchase record for 5 years. You cancel the subscription itself in the App Store or Google Play.
Data that only lives on your phone is deleted when you delete the app.
